Insurance. It’s the thing we count on to protect us from unexpected risk.

It’s the safety net that helps us sleep at night knowing that if any unforeseen calamity befalls us, we have protection.
Insurance represents security, safety, and peace of mind for millions of Americans.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t always work the way it should.

Many things can leave you, the insurance consumer, feeling short changed – from simple misunderstandings of coverage all the way to unscrupulous insurance company employees intentionally delaying, denying, or underpaying your claim.

Unfortunately, there is an imbalance of power between insurance companies and consumers so that when you try to address the problem, you find you’re outgunned,
out-lawyered, and outmatched.

What chance do you, as the individual consumer, have to stand up against the powerful insurance industry with their armies of lawyers, lobbyists, and multi million dollar campaign contributions?  The insurance industry’s voice reaches to the very highest echelons of power in our government.

The American Policyholder Association is here to bring insurance consumers together & address that imbalance of power.
